October 02, 2010 - Boo at the Barracks

The Family Readiness Group held an early Halloween for the soldier's families at the armory. It was full of games, painting pumpkins, and other activities.

August 08, 2010 - FRG Family Day

The Family readiness Group conducts a family day at the battalion's Jackson Barracks armory. The families were able to bond while enjoying food, music, and activities. Photos include family portraits for individual soldiers.

March 05, 2010 - Tiger Day

The 1-141st FA BN (along with the rest of the 256th IBCT) have a casing of the colors ceremony and passing review upon their completion of training at Camp Shelby, MS. The soldiers finished the day eating and enjoying music before leaving on their final pass prior to the start their mission in Iraq.

February 19, 2010 - ESGR Boss Lift

The 1-141 FA BN brought soldier's civilian employers to Camp Shelby to show them how their employees are training for their upcoming mission.

February 11, 2010 - Haydel's Bakery Brings King Cakes

The 1-141 FA BN received kings cakes from Haydel's Bakery for Mardi Gras during their mobilization training at Camp Shelby, before deploying to Iraq.

January 6, 2010 - 1-141 FA BN Deployment Ceremony

The battalion held a deployment ceremony at their new armory the prior to leaving for Camp Shelby to complete their pre-deployment training.

June 18, 2009 - Jackson Barracks Construction

The construction continues on the new armory at the Jackson Barracks.
The previous armory was heavily damaged during Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

April 11, 2009 - Cresent City Classic

Soldiers and Family participate in the Cresent City Classic.

March 17, 2009 - St. Patrick's Day Parade

Soldiers participated in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in New Orleans.

October 18, 2008 - 170th Annual Pass-In-Review

The 1-141st Field Artillery Battalion (Washington Artillery) held its
170th Annual Pass-In-Review at Lafreniere Park.
